Our vision & our aims
1 in 4 people will experience a mental health issue in any given year. That means that every person is likely to know someone who is experiencing a mental health issue, whether that is a family member, a friend or colleague.
In fact, mental illness is now said to affect every person directly or indirectly.
We need more mental health literacy and support skills in the community to help catch more people experiencing mental health issues and troubled times.
This is where our training can help.
Our courses are skilled based, early-intervention training which mobilise and empower communities by equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, connect and respond to someone experiencing a mental health issue or facing a mental health crisis.
Anyone can have a conversation that may save a life.
Everyone should know how.
Our Vision
People in difficulty or distress often find it challenging to open-up, because of the stigma associated with mental health issues or fear of being treated differently. Our vision is to break down those initial barriers, tackle stigma and have genuine non-judgemental conversations.
Our Aim
We aim to provide relief, appropriate support, and empower people to find solutions which will improve their health and wellbeing using our training and additional support from our local services.
Our training and support services equips you/your team with the knowledge and skills to lead effective wellbeing initiatives, provide learning on how to maintain, improve mental wellbeing and with our support provide you with the confidence to put your strategy into action and make a real difference.
Our courses are delivered, face to face or online to best suit your needs.
